Hero - leads the narrative, is usually looking for something (a quest) or trying to solve something
Villain - conflicts with the hereo
heroine - is usually some sort of prize or reward for the hereo
farther - an authority figure who offers a reward for the hero
helper - helps the hero
donar - gives the hero something
mentor - teaches and guides the hero
